Select Systems

Select Systems

Selection of systems is done in this section. Start by hitting the Add Systems button. This will give a list of systems which can be added to the building. Once Systems are added they will appear in the Tree Structure on the left. If any system in the Tree Structure is selected, it will be displayed in the System Diagram section on the right. To find out more detailed information on the system, select the properties. After the system has been created, proceed to the Configure Systems section to continue with the system creation.

Tree Structure (Create Systems)
Once a system has been created, it will appear in the tree. When the system in the tree is expanded, components and controls for the system will be listed. When an item in the tree is selected, it will be highlighted in the diagram. Objects can also be deleted from the tree.

System Categories
There are 10 different system categories in the system library.

These categories are further broken down into folders for organization. This is shown below the selected category.

System Folders
The system folders come from the folders in the System library. There are standard folders that come with the program. You can also add folders by clicking the Add Group button in the System library. All systems in each folder can be seen by clicking the dropdown arrow. Selecting a system from the list, will show the system diagram in the main working pane.

Add Systems button
The Add System button is used to add the currently viewed system into the project. Folders are used to filter the systems into categories and subcategories. Expand the folders to view the subfolders and systems in that category. Select a particular system to view it in the working pane. Click the Add System button to bring the system into the project.

System Diagram
The System Diagram in the project is similar to the system diagram in the library. After the system has been chosen, it can be viewed and edited.
