Load Design
Trace 3D Plus provides all of the options and modeling capabilities expected in a comprehensive load analysis tool but combined with a whole new level of usability that makes load design easy. There are two types of licenses that can be purchased:

Load Design - Load Design license is used only for Load and Design calculation (sizing of the equipment)

Energy and Economics - Energy and Economics license can be used for both Load Design as well as for Energy and Economics Analysis.
Load Design Operating Mode
The Load Design Operating Mode controls your preferences for the program appearance. It controls the fields that are displayed on each screen. There are two operating modes:
1. The Load Design license has only the Load-Design Operating Mode available and none of the fields related to energy are available.
2. The Energy and Economic license has two operating modes. You can select the default view for the screens by selecting the Operating mode. The Operating mode will only display the required fields for Load and Design calculations and does not determine the Simulation Method. Energy and Economics mode will display all the fields in the program to calculate Load, Design, Energy and Economics analysis.
Load Design Simulation Method
Load Design Simulation Method controls the Simulation method which determines how the alternatives in the project will be calculated. There are two Simulation Methods

Load Design: Will calculate only the Load and Design

Energy and Economic: Will calculate Load Design, Energy and Economics
The Simulation Method selection can be made in two different screens.
1. New project screen
2. Calculate results screen
When you have an Energy and Economics license, the Simulation Methodology might be chosen as Energy and Economics to run every alternative with that methodology or Per Alternative. Load Design licenses will only allow to run it as Load Design.
